The OCCC competes in the Sydney City & Suburban competition, providing Cranbrook old boys with the opportunity to play good quality cricket in a social atmosphere. The competition is played on turf pitches around Sydney, and players are able to select the games they wish to play without the pressure of committing to a full summer of all day cricket every weekend. Games are generally played on Saturday afternoons and are 35 overs a side.

In addition to the C&S competition, the club also competes in the knock-out Jack Pace Shield tournament.
